When did you first realize you wanted to be a writer?
I felt a void inside me growing by continuously working and traveling day in day out. When my daughter was born a few years back, I was very happy and decided that I would not let this void overcome me and would pursue my hobby of writing for which I was really passionate.
What have you written? Give us an insight into your book
The Amigos is about 3 friends with different dreams, it is only after an incident that their life changes and they redefine the purpose of their life. The book talks about the value of courage in life. Our nation is a young nation and we want courage in our generation, we want GMD in all of us. GMD stands for Gee mein dee, D is the Dum that young Indians should have in them.
Your book deals with various elements such as friendship, bonding, revolution, and growing-up. What made you write on such subjects?
As I said, ours is a young nation and to tell a story of young men; I have woven it around pillars of friendship, bonding and then finally a revolution that the young generation of India should bring in this country. Any revolution requires courage and that’s where the message of GMD has been told in the book. Since society fears rebellion it always slots people but if we have to make our nation greatest in the world revolution is needed by young men and women of our country.
How long on average does it take you to write a book?
Since I am not a full-time writer it usually takes me anything between 2-3 years to complete a book from writing to the first copy hitting the store.

Say something about Writing Geeks
Writing Geeks is a great initiative and it is extra special that the team is made up of young men and women. Writing is the best medium to spread good ideas and writing geeks is a great platform where creative people can share their work and get feedback. They are a perfect example of GMD, i.e. to have the courage to follow one’s dream, I wish them all the success in the future.
