Nida Ahmed is a young enthusiast studying English Literature from Hindu College, University of Delhi. She’s passionate about her aims, fully alive, confident, and outdoorsy. She through her first novel portrays that very person who’s given away their everything and never sought anything but love. Let’s find out what she has in store for all.<\/p>\n

Tell us a little about yourself and your background?<\/span><\/strong>
\nI am Nida Ahmed. Born and brought up in a muslim family based in Delhi. I am an English Literature student, and did my schooling from Presentation convent senior secondary school. I believe in vision and action. I also mingle with people very easily and have strong<\/span>
\ninterpersonal skills and enjoy reading and writing. I am passionate about my aims, fully alive, confident and outdoorsy. I attach weight on “never giving up” and through my story I impersonate how ‘it\u2019s hard to give up the being together with someone.’ I have few principled and stand strong on what is right and wrong. I have flaws but still I like being me. And I hope that everybody who knows me likes me with all my positive and negative features of character.<\/span><\/p>\n

When did you first realize you wanted to be a writer?<\/span><\/strong>
\nI’ve been writing diary since I was in 8th standard but I came to the writing game pretty late. I never had a single epiphany that caused me to write, but may be it happen when I realized that I could say whatever I wanted to without any interruption or stoppage. I realized, I can write whatever I want to, make my own stories, rattle off facts, fictions, brilliant dialogue, predilections, conversations , proclivities and everything.<\/span><\/p>\n

Were you good at English?<\/span><\/strong>
\nYes, I was. My English teacher from 9th standard, was the one to introduce me to writings. she was one of my many teachers who wanted to see me become successful in the writing career and watch me grow as a person. I used to write articles for the magazine of my school and I happen to be the most confident person in my class, may be that’s why I aslo won many debates.<\/span><\/p>\n

How long does it take you to write a book?<\/span><\/strong>
\nBeing a published author is a very difficult yet powerful thing. It’sdifferent with every writer. Some spend a lot of time thinking and planning; other’s just sit down and write. But, in the end, if one care about the output, there are a million little details to attend to and I did the same. That’s why it took me 1.5 years approximately to complete my book.<\/span><\/p>\n

What are your ambition for your writing career?<\/span><\/strong>
\nHopefully to write as many books as possible and get them published because I believe the writer has the brilliancy to escape from the sight of the readers that need them. you can’t see them but always feel their presence.<\/span><\/p>\n

what does your family think of your writing?<\/span><\/strong>
\nChoosing a career is an extremely important decision that impacts an individual\u2018s entire future, So my parents like of others were equally stressed, But when I handed over the first copy of my book to them, I noticed happiness, light hearteness, ecstasy and thousand of emotions in their eyes.<\/span>
\nThough, My parents think that I’m an exemplary daughter, but a bit lazy, because I don’t, like to help them about the house. They are sure that I’m a creative and active person.<\/span>
\nThey are extremely proud. They are my biggest fans and greatest strength.<\/span><\/p>\n

Which writer inspires you?<\/span><\/strong>
\nAll of them. But my favorite is William Wordsworth. Its because I am a great admirer of nature and its beauty and Nature and its connection to humanity makes an appearance in the vast majority of Wordsworth’s poetry. I also adore “Jane Eyre” by Charlotte Bronte. I have read this book a lot of times and I consider that it is a masterpiece of love genre.<\/span><\/p>\n

So, What have you written?<\/span><\/strong>
\nI have written a book “We Decided on Forever.” The book is based on real life events and people would easily connect with the story. True Love does exist and this book brings this out very well. It will take you into the realm of true Love. Its my very first attempt and I really have high hopes for this.<\/span><\/p>\n

Give an insign into your book.<\/span><\/strong>
\n“We Decided on Forever” is an inspirational love story. Its a story based on hope, faith and immense love that a girl has for a guy,the one who lays her heart open to him. who has given him a part of herself that she had never given to anyone. Its not about parties, rings or any other materialist things but about the person you are with, the one you have truly decided on forever with.<\/span><\/p>\n

what is the hardest thing about writing?<\/span><\/strong>
\nFor me, the most challenging part was just getting started. As a writer I had tons of stories in my head and the hardest thing was to compile them in a book. Its important to have utmost patience to sit each day and reproduce ‘novel’ creativity. Another significant fact about it is to maintain the sync with rhythm and mood with which you wrote yesterday.<\/span><\/p>\n

what advice would you give to aspiring writers?<\/span><\/strong>
\nDon’t ever hesitate to write. Write the book that you’re desperate to write. Set a goal each week for your writing and work to reach it, If you\u2019re stumbling over something as you read it, rewrite, rewrite, rewrite! Fall in love with the characters and read as much as possible, because the more you read, the better you write.<\/span><\/p>\n
