Tell us a little about yourself and your background?<\/strong><\/span>
\nI have had a hard life, thankfully. Every adversity proved itself to be an opportunity. I have grown through them celebrating my zest for life.<\/p>\n

When did you first realize you wanted to be a writer?<\/strong><\/span>
\nI have always wanted to pen down something for posterity. It became an obsession with me when I chose the vocation of a teacher at the college level.<\/p>\n

What have you written? Give us an insight into your book<\/strong><\/span>
\nIt is a collection of short stories – the plot, the characters, the dialogue, the setting are carved out of real life. Great care has been taken to blend fact and fiction. I have grown through every story. I would like to share the experience with the reader as well.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>What made you write”Sparks from the hearth”<\/strong><\/span>
\nThe inspiration has been my life itself and a strong desire to grow from the personal to the universal.<\/p>\n

How long it took you to write the same?<\/strong><\/span>
\nThese stories have been written at different points of time. Bringing them under one umbrella would have taken about two years.<\/p>\n

What are your ambitions for your writing career.<\/strong><\/span>
\nThe more I write the more I feel that I belong to humanity. I discover my universal longings through my stories.<\/p>\n

What does your family think of your writing?<\/strong><\/span>
\nGood support. One can write only when the mind is set free.<\/span><\/p>\n

Which writers inspire you? Why?<\/span><\/strong>
\nRuskin Bond and Arundhati Roy. Ruskin Bond for his love of nature and
\nRoy for capturing native sensibility in English.<\/p>\n

What is the hardest thing about writing?<\/strong><\/span>
\nTo ensure that everything has fallen into the right places.<\/p>\n

\nKeep credibility and conviction as the governing principles of good writings.<\/p>\n
