Mukhpreet Khurana has been fond of literature, poetry and prose for a very long time. Being a coffee lover, you won\u2019t be surprised to find him in a coffee shop sipping his cuppa with a journal on the table. A budding entrepreneur, he finds his interests in networking and socializing. He is a hobbyist photographer who enjoys taking long walks through any garden that comes his way. His taste in music scales towards the unmatchable power in Kirtan, in instrumentals and to the likes of Coke Studio and Sufi music.<\/p>\n

I have been fond of literature, poetry and prose for a very long time. Being a coffee lover, you won’t be surprised to find me in a coffee shop sipping over a cappuccino. with a journal on the table. I find my interests in entrepreneurship networking and socializing. Being a hobbyist photographer, I enjoy taking long walks through any garden that comes my way. My taste in music scales towards the unmatchable power in Kirtan, in instrumentals and to the likes of Coke Studio and Sufi music. I am a fashion enthusiast, a foodie and a contributor to a budding lifestyle blog on Instagram. I live in Hyderabad with my family and I am currently working on my second book.<\/div>\n

How did \u2018Unlocked Silences\u2019 happen? Could you describe the journey?
\n<\/strong>“Unlocked Silences” happened over time. Being an admirer of literature, I found my interests in poetry and prose over the years. From the likes of Shakespeare in school to reading through mystics like Rumi. The book as it is now, was only poems on tissue papers from Cafe Coffee Day or Starbucks outlets, was scribbles over a huge pile of papers, and over reminiscence of what I call a selfless life. Unlocked Silences is a companion first, a book later.<\/span>
\n<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

What according to you is different about your book?<\/span>
\n<\/strong>
\nUnlocked Silences just reflects transparency to the reader. The book is more of a selfless companion. I believe it all comes down to that one moment when you sleep a better person, or you wake up to become a better person. Unlocked Silences is the bridge between the two.
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

What is the most fulfilling part of writing this book? And what is the most challenging?<\/span>
\n<\/strong>
\nI think the most fulfilling part of the book was to see the book in the hands of the end readers!
\n<\/span>The most challenging part was waiting for the book to get to the readers.<\/span>
\n\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Any advice to writers that would like to be published today? How tough is it to be published?<\/span>
\n<\/strong>Since I am a newbie in this industry, my only suggestion to my fellow writers is to just a leap of faith and get published. Get that book out in the market, let your work be read, be acknowledged, be welcomed and be respected and appreciated.<\/p>\n

What is the next book that you have planned?\u00a0<\/span>
\n<\/strong>My second book as of now is a rough outline around the wavelengths of poetic motivation and reminiscence.<\/p>\n
