The Ray of Asha is the debut novel by Jisha Rajesh who is a doctor in the morning and a writer at night. Her writing speaks lengths and volumes about her love for humanity. She is compassionate in writing and her characters beam passion. While being an avid reader, her hobbies also include music and cooking.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>The novel is mesmerizing story of a journalist Gayatri Chaturvedi, who interviews a spiritualist who is known for his healing powers. Like any skeptical journalist she believes that he is a fraud and goes on a mission expose. The beauty about spirituality is that it is so deep, that you just keep swimming deeper and deeper. Gayatri, while interviewing him understands the purity of spirituality and about how well he understands medicine. As the interview proceeds she is smitten by his charm, personality and good looks. And like a trueinquisitive journalist she decides to swim in to his past.<\/p>\n

As she swims deeper she finds herself in the classroom with the spiritualist when he was a student of medicine and learns about his secrets. He was in love and was going to propose to his ladylove when he was accused for another classmate\u2019s murder. That is Gayatri\u2019s tipping point as she goes on her own little detective escapade and tries to understand if or not he had committed the murder, and if yes then why?<\/p>\n

The novel is a true message of love and friendship and seems to be probing a sense of enlightenment that seems unattainable in today\u2019s world. For the first time someone has portrayed mystery in a composed nature. The story beams courage and restates the power of hope for its readers.<\/p>\n
