Rajan’s \u2018I Remain Forever yours\u2019 has been featured as India\u2019s one of the \u2018Top 100 Debut Novel\u2019. Rajan’s 2 poems won awards from Delslam.<\/p>\n

Congratulations for your 3RD book and for all the lovely reviews! How are you feeling?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Thanks, I am feeling humbled and happy. I got a surprise request from a relative in London who wanted to give his wife my three published English books for her birthday. I was surprised when he told me that he had previously given books by well-known authors such as Dr. Shashi Tharoor, whom I greatly admire.<\/p>\n

As a child, what did you want to do when you grew up?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I’ve been fascinated by great leaders and writers since I was a child. I didn’t know what I wanted to be, but I knew I wanted to be someone who was always in contact with people.
\nI wished I could be a teacher, an army soldier like my father, a writer, a librarian, the owner of a bookstore, or, at the very least, a profession related to engineering, which I took up and somehow managed to meet all of my financial obligations and my children’s education.<\/p>\n

\u00a0How do you select the names of your characters?<\/strong>
\nThis is the most difficult part of writing a story. I try to name them after people I know, in accordance with the story and geographical location on which the story is based.<\/p>\n

Do you hear from your readers much? What kinds of things do they say?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Readers occasionally send me unexpected messages. They are mostly happy because I write stories about my life, old memories, and people close to my heart. They have the impression that I try to transport them to new places through my stories.<\/p>\n

What is the next book that you have planned?<\/strong><\/p>\n

‘BORN TO DREAM’ is the title of my next book. It is about the founder of the BPL Group of Companies, Shri. T.P.G Nambiar. I started my career in BPL INDIA, and I am proud to say that TPG, the living legend, was my first inspiration to succeed in whatever I do. I’m compiling articles from former BPL employees like myself.<\/p>\n
