Here are some helpful tips to get fiction writers on their feet, then soaring.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"Writing_Your_Own_Fiction_Book\" class=\"mw-headline\" style=\"color: #0088ff;\">Writing Your Own Fiction Book<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #0088ff;\"><br \/>\n1.<\/span> <\/strong><span style=\"color: #0088ff;\"><b class=\"whb\">Be creative!<\/b><\/span> Imagination has no limits. Don&#8217;t let other people steal your ideas.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0088ff;\">\u00a0 <\/span><br \/>\n<strong><span style=\"color: #0088ff;\">2. Get an idea. <\/span><\/strong>Plain and simple, it may come in the form of a dream, or perhaps that annoying dog across the street sounds like it&#8217;s saying cookies. Any idea can be excellent.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #0088ff;\"><br \/>\n3. Write your idea down.<\/span><\/strong> No matter how stupid it may sound, it could be good. Maybe that idea about the dog that says cookies is lame, but someone will like it, or you can change it a bit later on.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #0088ff;\"><br \/>\n4.<\/span> <\/strong><span style=\"color: #0088ff;\"><b class=\"whb\">Work out the details and main story line.<\/b> <\/span>What color is the dog? Is it a boy or a girl? It could even be both! Why does it want cookies? How does it get the cookies? There are many questions that you can answer but decide on the story line before you get on the details.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0088ff;\"><strong><br \/>\n5. <\/strong><b class=\"whb\"><span style=\"color: #0088ff;\">D<\/span>on&#8217;t copy other authors.<\/b><\/span> Bob Atkinson is a great author and illustrator and he doesn&#8217;t copy Nick Bland. Be yourself.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #0088ff;\"><br \/>\n6.<\/span> <\/strong><span style=\"color: #0088ff;\"><b class=\"whb\">Decide if it&#8217;s a short story or novel.<\/b> <\/span>How many pages or chapters are there? Get the basics.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #0088ff;\"><br \/>\n7. Write a rough draft.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #0088ff;\"><br \/>\n8.<\/span> <\/strong><span style=\"color: #0088ff;\"><b class=\"whb\">Spell check.<\/b> <\/span>Change it if it says its incorrect, if it doesn&#8217;t seem right check with someone who knows English as a profession. Don&#8217;t leave it to chance.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0088ff;\"><strong><br \/>\n9.<\/strong> <b class=\"whb\">Read through it again.<\/b> <\/span>Does it make sense? Have your friends and family read through it. Let them make changes with a pencil or pen.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #0088ff;\"><br \/>\n10.
