Simple Prepositions &#8211; Simple Prepositions are &#8220;short&#8221; or &#8220;little&#8221; words that express relationships including those of space, time, and degree.<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>E.g. At, by, in from, of, off, out, till.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Example :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The children hid <strong>under<\/strong> the table.<\/li>\n<li>I write <strong>with<\/strong> pen.<\/li>\n<li>She sang <strong>with<\/strong> great skill.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #0088ff;\"><br \/>\n2. Compound Prepositions &#8211; Those preposition which are formed by prefixing a preposition to a Noun, an Adjective or an Adverb are known as compound preposition.<\/span> <\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>E.g. About, along, beyond, beside, above, through, inside, etc&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Example :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Please see the instructions <strong>above<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>What&#8217;s the book <strong>about<\/strong>?<\/li>\n<li>The boy ran <strong>across<\/strong> the yard.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #0088ff;\"><br \/>\n3.
