This book provides context, analyzes, and narrates the events of 1942, which shook British Rule of India and eventually led to the collapse of the British Empire. 1942: Japanese armies reached the Northeast Borders of India after taking over Burma (Myanmar). Then, the Japanese bombed Madras, Vizag, and Calcutta. Ports on India’s East Coast were closed. Almost 100,000 soldiers of the British Indian Army and 400,000 civilians- disease-ridden and demoralized- came to India from Burma, making a tortuous journey with nearly 50-100,000 perishing while trekking through the mosquito-infested jungles. Earlier, The Japanese had attacked Pearl Harbor and Malaya almost simultaneously. The British-ruled areas of Malaya, Hongkong, and Singapore surrendered quickly. Under Chatfield doctrine, the defense of these areas was the responsibility of British India. Besides, there were a large number of Indians in trade and various professions. Fearing a Japanese invasion, the British started sending their families to the interior and began planning to evacuate from India. In Feb '42, Churchill informed King George VI that 'Burma, Ceylon, Calcutta, and Madras in India and part of Australia may fall into enemy (Japan) hands.' Then, Congress launched the Quit India movement. The formation of the Indian National Army planted the seeds for the collapse of the British Empire.

The novel will reminisce you about the old school days when everything used to be simple and the first love memories. The reason my love story is so compelling to read is because there is something so powerful about a young love experience. It happens when our hearts are still innocent and pure, relationship that will forever remember the hugs, cuddles, holding hands, sweet whispers, long drives, late night conversations and the romantic strolls. First love is the first experience of intimacy. Hugs, kisses and cuddles in a first love relationship form the basis of the sweetest lifelong memories. This is the time when a simple act of holding hands makes you sweat and a romantic hug gives you goosebumps all over your body. People don't fall in love for the first time with expectations or malicious intentions. It is pure attraction, led by the heart and not the mind. The whole world seems beautiful and life becomes perfect. The only thing truly unique about my own story is that I found my love so young, before that first inevitable heartbreak. An unfinished love keeps some allure for many years. Just like how the euphoria of falling in love is extreme, so is the subsequent heartbreak. If love was a poker game, first love can be described as going All In. Peaking levels of happiness weaken sense of judgment and make it hard to draw boundaries. This makes you do stupid things including committing too early, putting your hopes into one person, getting intimate even if you are not sure. Your first love will be one who will be the hardest get over. You think it’s going to last forever, but it only lasts in a matter of seconds strung out into elongated moments. And then it ends, just like that. It seemed simple to me, I was young and naive and I had more faith in romantic indie films, holding hands and doing those small little things to make her happy. At first glance, it seemed infinite. But looking back after these past years, I can see it for how it really was, and that’s kind of sad. I’m not wise and I’m not old. I’m a 21-year-old college student, but I do know what it’s like to fall in love and still cling onto those moments because there is just too much history to push aside. I used to get really melancholy at times, because I remember that she had this hold on me. It’s not permanent, but the girl who hurt me a consecutive amount of times, and in the worst ways ever, will be my first love. However, if you’ve never fallen in love, it will be difficult for you to understand. It’s not that simple. You can’t just “let go” completely. It’s not just a “somebody” that you mindlessly dated for a few months before you broke up. Once you move on from your first love, there will be a disheartening sense of realization that you will never be able to recreate this perfectness in love again. But TIME HEALS, ALL WOUNDS. Sometimes your heart needs more time to accept what your mind already knows. The novel will give you a series of flashback.

India has always been a region of multiple cultures and ethnicities comprising a multifaceted, colorful, and genuinely diverse civilization of innumerable peoples, beliefs, and languages. The political domination of Muslim dynasties from Central Asia from the Ghaznavid conquests onwards led to "Persian" being grafted into the Indian subcontinent as the official language of governance and high culture. As classical Persian culture fell into abeyance during the Middle Ages and the Islamic West disintegrated into chaos, India fostered a Persian cultural renaissance of unparalleled literary achievement by émigrés to India as well as by Indians themselves. However, from the beginning of the seventeenth century. "Urdu" began to form around the lower echelons of society as a common tongue to enable communication between the myriad ethnicities of the Mughal Empire, ultimately restricting Persian to a refined language of culture and courtly life in the Mughal court and becoming a vibrant and dynamic language in its own right thus becoming the first literary language with a substantial original contribution from Indians since ancient Sanskrit. Presented in this book are proses, minstrelsy and parnassus straight from the kings emperors, saints, prisoners and outlaws of the Mughal court and jurisdiction, as well as the beau monde and aristocracy of the Mughal India.

  • Can Money Buy Happiness?  How to Maximize your HQ (Happiness Quotient)? What is the Path to ‘Financial MOKSHA’? How to use your finances to Maximize your Potential? Why is Money like ‘Oxygen’? BUDDHA on WALL-STREET is where western philosophies of maximizing wealth meet the eastern philosophies of moderation and maximizing happiness. This is where the United States of America meets Bhutan. While BUDDHA on WALL-STREET is primarily a book on investments it seeks to redefine happiness from the perspective of ancient wisdom drawing on the source of true happiness.  It is materialism with contentment. BUDDHA on WALL-STREET not only equips the reader with knowledge and wisdom to effectively maximize returns and manage one’s investments but also lays out a balanced approach to maximize one’s happiness. In the material world there is a single pointed focus towards attaining wealth. This defeats the purpose it intends to serve, ending in misery rather than happiness. The book deals with the mechanics of how to maximize one's Happiness Quotient (HQ). The Book is a practical guide on how one should balance out one’s primal desires for infinite wealth with one’s HQ (Happiness Quotient). It is about securing our future with the right investments and managing our lives with the right attitude.

  • Any significant event that has occurred in the history of man has always been about people. From global conquests to curing epidemics, inventing cars, space travel and even simplifying our daily lives with technology. Design thinking, the overhyped and less understood mindset has intentionally or unknowingly been at the heart of innovations-from the simplest of them by individuals to make household chores easier, that no one might ever hear about; to those by groups of brilliant scientists, lone innovators and hordes of selfless social volunteers working on improving lives the world over. Design thinking is essential yet elusive as something like kindness or charity or even ethics and morality. This book aims at demystifying the seemingly complex but very fundamental yet essential mindset of design thinking to help you apply it to designing your business, your life, and possibly a better world.

  • We all have an Einstein in us! Do you know what prevents us from being an Einstein? He used his ‘mind’ instead of being used by it. A sharp, focused, intelligent, illuminated and intuitive mind was the persona of the most influential physicist of the 20th century. Unpack Einstein’s famous equation with a different yet intriguing perspective that depicts the physics behind ‘thought energy.’ Many people are not using their minds, and if at all they do, they use it in a ‘foolish’ or ‘fuelish’ way, draining their entire energy with mundane thoughts. Happy people, successful people and inspiring people all have one thing in common: they know how to make the most of their mind’s potential, which helps them to manage and increase their energy. E=mc2 beautifully reveals the ‘many minds’ in you and coaches you with a step by step framework depicting the ‘physics of thought.’ This book beautifully correlates the ‘physics of managing and increasing energy’ and much more! Don’t Act Fuelish! Take Charge of Your Mind, and get ready to bring back the power in you. Get ready to embark on a happy, energetic and celebrated life!

  • Is ethics subject to evolution? Has ethics chosen evolution over extinction in its course of existentialism? Does a paradigm shift in the sequence of our priorities and the immortality in the motion of time, act as a catalyst for the evolution of ethics? Does constantly judging the lack of conventionally established ethical standards in all our present-day actions, prevent us from celebrating the presence of ethics in its best possible contemporary form today? Ethics & its Ecdysis makes you wonder if ethics as a phenomenon is subject to evolution, just like every other living being despite being abstract in nature, or not? This book attempts to answer these curious questions through a very interesting story. With business ethics as the plot and ecdysis as the theme, the author has attempted to discover the possibility of the evolution of ethics through a realistic, relatable, and relevant story. Ultimately, this book leaves you with the power to decide whether you choose to accept the ecdysis of ethics and keep pace with reality OR accept the extinction of the conventionally rigid connotations of ethics and fossilize your place in the real space.
