Every life is an interesting story, and this story is best written when people go through life’s experiences by staying connected to who they truly are. To stay connected to yourself, you need first to start listening from within.

This book gives a perspective on why we think, feel and act the way we do, through concepts from neuroscience and psychology. It attempts to answer some of life’s key questions, such as-

-Why do we all perceive things differently?

-Why are we designed to do different things?

-Why do we all learn things in different ways?

-How are habits formed?

-What role do emotions play in our lives?

-What makes us happy?

And finally, what it means and takes to stay connected to ourselves and others.

Beginning with the cover of the book, I would rate it 9/10 for its intriguing and apt representation of the contents inside.

Perhaps, it was a timely read for me.

The book mainly focuses on connecting with yourself and it brings various clarifications.

Have you ever felt uneasy for no reason and it had to do something with your gut feeling? Or, have you felt that your inner self and you are away from each other? This book focuses on the core of these topics and made me connect more with myself.

After reading this book, I realized that you need no priest or saint to show you the direction of your life as your deep self knows it.

It is a must read for all teens who feel estranged from themselves and family.

The interesting part is that the book doesn’t over-feed ideas or topics and is crisp.

The best way to read this book is to read one or two chapters per day slowly.

As a law student, I am satisfied with the sources cited towards the end of the book.

Also, the book is crafted in simple English and an interesting narration.

The most interesting thing is the way one could connect with every word of the book.

The most interesting topic according to me is the way we react to different people.

Overall, I would rate the book 9.5/10

Recommended for teens and the ones who are confused about their life and emotions.
