Tell us a little about yourself and your background?

What to say? I am a very ordinary person. Professionally I am a professor of Mechanical engineering at FGIET Raebareli. I am a spiritual person and this is the thing which is a motivation for me. I love to write about spirituality and I think you can’t motivate a person without the help of spirituality. The real motivation comes from your inner core and Spirituality helps it to come out.

When did you first realize you wanted to be a writer?

Writing is my inner thirst from my childhood, but, engineering was an equal love. So, I decided to first settle down in my engineering carrier. After getting the job and realizing that now I am in a good position I decided to write.

Were you good at English?

Yes! I would say, yes, because I am a product of Kendriya vidyalaya where majority of subjects were taught in English. But, as I was a student of engineering I definitely had a weak vocab and I was not in touch with literary English.

How long does it take you to write a book?

I took me around three months to write this book.

What are your ambitions for your writing career?

As an author I want a recognition that after reading my book the reader should be able to say that yes I have read something thought provoking.

What does your family think of your writing?

My family appreciate my writing a lot and yes they are also very much enthusiastic about it.

Which writers inspire you?

I think there can’t be a single name, but, I like the philosopher Jiddu Krishnamurthy the most.
So, what have you written?

‘The God Factor For Success And Contentment ‘ is my first book. As I already told I love to write on spiritual subject and this book is spiritual motivation.

Give us an insight into your book

The book is a spiritual guide. It guides you that the quest about god can provide you a contentment in your life. It motivates you and make you aware that how can you ease the challenges of life.

What is the hardest thing about writing?

For me, it is the mood. I find it very difficult to find a proper mood, as the right words or thoughts come to my mind when it is absolutely calm.

What advice would you give to aspiring writers?

I don’t advice but request them to write unbiased and with open minds, braking all dogmas.
