    Chit Chat Session

Tell us a little about yourself and your background?
I am from city Sagar, and I enjoyed my childhood with my cousins as we use to live in joint family. I still remember we use to have our theater group in which we use to write stories for our play and then performed in front of our elders. My Grandfather uses to appreciate us by giving one Banana each on our performance, and we loved those days. I passed out from St. Joseph convent school in Sagar, about which you can read in my story “My Mute Girlfriend” as well.

How did ‘My Mute Girlfriend’ happen? Could you describe the journey?
I was in Jabalpur for my friend’s wedding, and it’s the city from where I completed my engineering. Nostalgic feeling of those days forced me to write about “My Mute ”

What according to you is different about your book?
I am too happy for My Mute Girlfriend and thankful to all my readers and my Publisher who supported me to bring out this story. This is a story of boy Rohan who is in search of the reason why his girlfriend who always stood by his side turned to Mute. Its 90% pure story with real events and characters.

What is the most fulfilling part of writing this book? And what is the most challenging?
Story being from my college days so it was a most fulfilling part for me, especially hostel days scenes. Challenging part comes when the story turns out to be emotional. As I am a very emotional person, I start crying while writing my stories.

Any advice to writers that would like to be published today? How tough is it to be published?
I would like to suggest to write from your heart because if there is truth in your writing, nothing else matters. Getting published in India now days is easy if you want to go self-publishing options, but quite tough if you’re going to get traditionally published.

What is the next book that you have planned?
I am working on my next novel, which is a romance, but I can bet you would have never read a type of story which I am going to narrate next. Cannot reveal many details now.

    What are you currently reading?
I am not reading anything currently because when I write, I do not read not to get
