About the Author
Prashant V Shrivastava is a published author of Life’s Like That (published in 2013) and an IT professional. He has been writing since 1998 and has been acclaimed across various prestigious platforms like internet, newspapers, and various competitions. Prashant wrote the winning tweet in a competition organized by Delhi Government and Delhi I LoveYou, which is painted on the main wall of Saket City Hospital in Delhi.
In his leisure, Prashant writes short poetry for his social media friends and develops some poems into full songs for his website shayarana.com. An avid poetry lover, Prashant can rewrite an existing song or lend fresh words to a new tune. Blessed with the literary atmosphere at home, Prashant received the poetic taste and skills from his mother Sulekha Shrivastava and father, Virendra Shrivastava.
The anthology called “Jo Tum Kaho” reflects his thoughts and feeling for various situations of life like romance, love, separation, and pain. His empathy towards people in pain is evident with his poems that elucidate the trauma a girl goes through when molested and in parallel, Prashant also feels what the family of rapists go through after their family member is convicted.
